Classic Pan-Seared Ribeye Steak
Ingredients:
1 ribeye steak (1–1.5 inches thick)
Salt and black pepper
2 tbsp butter
2 garlic cloves (smashed)
Fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs
Instructions:
Pat the steak dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
Heat a cast-iron skillet until very hot.
Sear the steak for 2–3 minutes per side.
Add butter, garlic, and herbs. Baste the steak with the butter for another 1–2 minutes per side (for medium-rare).
Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
2. Garlic Butter Striploin Steak
Ingredients:
2 New York strip steaks
Salt, pepper
3 tbsp garlic butter (butter + minced garlic + parsley)
Instructions:
Grill or pan-sear steaks to your preferred doneness.
Top with garlic butter while hot and let it melt over the steak.
Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
3. Steak Tacos (Carne Asada Style)
Ingredients:
1½ lbs flank or skirt steak
Juice of 2 limes
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 garlic clove minced
Salt and pepper
Instructions:
Marinate steak in all ingredients for 2–4 hours.
Grill over high heat until charred and medium-rare.
Slice thin and serve in tortillas with onions, cilantro, and salsa
